The Opportunity
Greenwich House is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to support the Heights & Hills Caregiver Program as the Assistant Director. In this role, the Assistant Director helps ensure program compliance, strengthen staff engagement, and serve as a key partner to both the Caregiver Program Director and staff. Working closely with the Caregiver Program Director and staff, the Assistant Director supports the day-to-day operations of the Heights & Hills Caregiver Program, which serves caregivers in Brooklyn. The role also helps promote participation across program offerings and serves as a liaison to other agency programs, partner organizations, and the broader community in support of program activities and services.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance support to a team of four staff members, fostering accountability, professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
- Work closely with Caregiver Program Director to ensure compliance with NYC Aging Program Standards.
- Monitor staff compliance with required in – service trainings, certifications and professional development requirements and support timely completion.
- Prepare, review, submit agency required program reports, data summaries, and other administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with Program budget monitoring tracking of program related expenditures in collaboration with leadership.
- Support quality assurance efforts including case reviews, documentation compliance and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Assist with staff onboarding, orientation mentoring and ongoing training.
- Offer recommendations for program growth.
- Identify ways to streamline systems and provide more efficient services.
- Collaborate with Program Director and Caregiver team members to maintain, update and enhance program related website content and digital resources.
- Co-host program workshops and special events, including oversight of participant registration, reminder communications, facilitator introductions and virtual session management.
- Assist Caregiver Director with operational coverage and guidance to intake coordinator, ensuring continuity of services, timely response to referrals, and effective workflow management.
- Represent program leadership at internal and external meetings as delegated and provide leadership coverage in absence of the Program Director.
What You’ll Bring
- Master’s degree in social work or related field.
- 2 years of Supervisory Experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated cultural competency and commitment to working in diverse communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email communication, Canva, Adobe, WordPress, Constant Contact, Vive and ADP.
- Bilingual (Chinese or Spanish preferred).
- Sifi – Preferred.

Salary Range
The expected salary is $71,440 annually. This rate reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of this posting and may be adjusted based on experience, education, and organizational needs.
