Senior Personal Lines Claims Specialist - Remote/Hybrid

Senior Claims Specialist – Personal Lines Casualty Our Casualty Attorney Represented team is hiring for Senior Claims Specialists to manage attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. The role includes managing, investigating, and resolving claims and providing prompt, quality service to policyholders for mild to moderate severity and/or complexity claims. Remote / Hybrid Remote: Candidates living more than 50 miles from our Claims offices. Hybrid: Candidates living within 50 miles will be on-site at least two days per month. Location & Schedule The ideal candidate will reside in the Southeast and the position follows an Eastern Time work schedule. Responsibilities Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settling claims within prescribed authority levels. Identify potential suspicious claims and refer to SIU and opportunities for third party subrogation. Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report status to Home Office and local management. Conferee with trial counsel and prepare trial reports. Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on proper course of action. Respond to written and telephone inquiries including status reports. Ensure adequacy of reserves. Maintain security of financial processing of claims and confidentiality of files. Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required. Manage billing activities of outside and in-house counsel. Attend mandatory training and maintain active engagement during training. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty Experience. 1+ years Attorney-Represented Experience. Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills. Customer service experience preferred. Demonstrated competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 12–18 months of directly related experience.
