Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role involves taking patient assignments of a 6:1 ratio, potentially 5:1. No on-call requirements are expected. The unit consists of 34 beds. Staffing includes a charge nurse, nurses, patient care technicians, and a unit clerk. The patient ratio is typically 1:6. Equipment used includes Welch Allyn vital signs monitors and GE telemetry monitoring. The electronic medical record system utilized is MediTech. Preferred qualifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support and TNCC certifications. Typical procedures on the unit include Wound Vac and CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and be team-oriented. Dress code requires navy scrubs. Recognition includes ICARE Award winners and Daisy Award winners.
