Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring a General Maintenance Technician in Kettering, OH up to $23.00-25.00/hr., based on experience .


Job Summary :


Our company is looking for a highly talented General Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. We're seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. Your chief responsibilities will include maintaining the day-to-day operations to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Plant Manager.


Basic Qualifications


(Minimum required experience, education, knowledge/skills/abilities/essential physical demands): MUST BE ABLE TO WORK LONG HOURS WHEN NEEDED!! Must be able to display a great attitude toward daily duties, minimal welding experience, minimal electrical experience, minimal knowledge of a pneumatic system (forklifts), general maintenance experience.


Education and & Experience :

• High school graduate of G.E.D. equivalent desired.
• Prior painting, sanding, and machining experience preferred, supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, work methods, to become familiar with the company's products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements to fully assume responsibilities of the job.
• Minimal experience in welding, electrical work, pneumatic system and the use of various hand tools.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

• Must be familiar with the company's product and warehouse methods, techniques, and procedures.
• MUST have your own tools/toolbox.
• MUST be familiar with CNC machines.
• MUST have your own vehicle - NO ride shares or drop offs.
• Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
• Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
