Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Home Health in Lenoir, NC. Coverage area: Watauga County. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑5:00. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000. Benefits may vary by employment status Responsibilities Provide 1:1 care for clients following their plan of care at all times while maintaining dignity and independence. Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed per the client’s plan of care and assess results. Accurately document nursing actions, communicate with family, case manager, and physicians, and document progress toward established goals, informing providers of changes in medical condition and needs. Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate amounts are always on hand. Ensure all patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions. Qualifications LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice and state of residence. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance. CPR professional certification. 1+ year of nursing experience preferred. Home health care experience preferred.
