Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit on a travel assignment. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during nighttime shifts.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and accurate interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while following safety protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.

Shift Details

This is a night shift position, working from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of two years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred.
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
