The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This position requires foundational experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as powered end riders, reach trucks, and stock pickers. The role involves careful maneuvering around pedestrians, products, dock areas, aisles, and facility infrastructure while maintaining safety and productivity. This position is part of a cross-functional team and primarily supports day-shift operations with moderate physical activity including lifting and walking.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle products and shipments with care to maintain quality
• Navigate warehouse aisles, docks, and racking areas responsibly
• Maintain awareness of warehouse traffic and pedestrian safety
• Occasionally cross-train on multiple equipment types as needed
• Support day shift warehouse operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Perform moderate lifting and sustained walking to complete tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in material handling

The minimum experience requirement is six months operating powered material handling equipment such as Crown PE 4-Foot or 8-Foot Powered End Riders, Crown RC Reach Trucks (with or without rotator attachments), Crown RM Reach Trucks, Crown SP Stock Pickers, rider pallet jacks, or equivalent equipment. Experience should demonstrate the ability to safely maneuver equipment in a warehouse setting similar to RREW operations.
