Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical/Surgical License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - BLS certification - NIHSS certification - ACLS certification preferred - Experience with Cerner charting system Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position in the Medical Surgical specialty. The shift will be 3×12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Will be expected to work every other weekend, totaling 2 weekends per month. The clinician may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs. All staff members must be prepared to float as needed. There are no guaranteed home units, and floating may occur to various units. Providing care will include interpretation of dysrhythmias and managing patients receiving oxygen. Ensure appropriate support through team-based care models if floated outside primary competency. Candidates should be responsive and meet compliance deadlines. References from recent employers will be required prior to employment. Candidates must have the ability to submit required documentation promptly.
