Title Accounting Coordinator I Reports To Controller Classification Full-Time FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Summary Perform accounting and clerical functions to support department. Essential Job Functions Prepare and process invoices to be paid. Prepare and input timely payments for mortgages, vehicle notes, and leases. Process vendor statements. Weekly preparation and processing of accounts payable checks. Reconcile vendor statements to payments made and process accordingly. Void checks & re-enter invoices for payment. Maintain vendor files. Assist in preparations for financial auditors. Assist in preparation of cost reports and related audits. Maintain vendor files for IRS reporting of 1099’s. Punctual and regular attendance. Perform any other duties assigned by Controller. Qualifications/Experience/Job Knowledge High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions. Basic accounting knowledge. More than one year of experience in the accounting field. Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite of products. The ability to learn additional systems as required. Skills And Abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Working knowledge of Google Workspace. Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position. Supervisory Responsibilities Will not supervise. Physical Requirements Constantly moves about to coordinate work. Regularly works in a fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines. Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions. Constantly alert and observant during working hours. Special Requirements May be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses. Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities. Must be able to prioritize work tasks.

EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES

Must have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation. Must pass drug screen and criminal background check. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends when required.
