• Provide direct patient care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients with a focus on primary recovery.
• Utilize advanced skills such as ACLS, balloon pump, and impella device management.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech Expanse system.
• Adhere to hospital-specific protocols and unit guidelines.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - CVICU

• 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients in a primary recovery setting.
• ACLS certification.
• Training in balloon pump, impella, and hemosphere or acumen systems.
