Job Location: Lucilles BBQ Henderson – Henderson, NV 89052 Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Any Job Category: Restaurant – Food Service Position Summary The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using a machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Working in a team environment with the ability to be an effective team player Sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and placing them in racks to send through the dish machine Sorting and stacking clean dishes; carrying clean dishes to the cook line and other proper storage areas; rewashing soiled dishes before delivering Changing dishwater in the dish machine every hour Washing pots, pans, and trays by hand Removing trash and garbage to the dumpster Setting up and breaking down the dishwashing area Cleaning and rolling/unrolling mats Filling and emptying soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions Sweeping and mopping floors Assembling and disassembling the dish machine Sweeping up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster Performing general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed Wiping up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry Notifying the Manager anytime the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures Maintaining a neat and clean appearance, as established by Company policy Displaying integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment Performing other duties as directed Qualifications Moderate verbal and written communication skills Moderate interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Ability to act with integrity and professionalism Proficient ability to communicate in English orally and in writing California food handlers card required Basic mathematical skills Basic reading and writing skills Basic computer skills Multi‑task oriented Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required Knowledge of and ability to adhere to workplace safety procedures Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items Preferred Qualifications One or more years of full‑service restaurant experience Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The work environment is primarily indoors, hot, and damp. The team member occasionally communicates with coworkers and is occasionally exposed to hazards including cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls, burns, smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, extreme cold, contact or immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items, and frequent washing of hands.
