Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience required 12 months of scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required Cardiac Cath Lab experience required Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required Peripheral vascular experience required Level I trauma experience preferred License: Iowa Radiology license highly preferred – consideration for licensing candidates based on issuance timeline Active ARRT (R) required ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred RCIS/CCI nice to have Certifications: Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS preferred RCIS/CCI or ARRT/The American Registry of Radiology Technologists required Must-Have: Work history/resume must show required 12 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience Skills checklist must be specific to interventional vascular/IR lab discipline Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation or reference from within 24 months preferred Driver's License required Description: The role involves working in the interventional radiology department. Candidates will scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures. The team handles an average of 25 vascular procedures daily. The position includes holiday rotation with required work on 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays. Participation in on-call duties is required, with call every third evening and third weekend. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply. Iowa Radiology license is preferred but not mandatory for consideration. Candidates should be adaptable and ready to support diverse clinical scenarios.
