Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This position requires a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Travel experience is mandatory. The nurse will be responsible for caring for high acuity patients. Ratios are typically 1-2:1. All required certifications must be current. Culture is very important, and travelers are welcomed into the units. Travelers are expected to function as core staff members. All requests for time off must be submitted prior to application. Demographic information including address, email, date of birth, social security number, and RN license number must be included in the profile for confirmation. Hard document deadlines apply, and no exceptions will be made for pending documents.

Experience: 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required

License: Valid Registered Nurse License

Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completion is required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification preferred

Must-Have:

• Ability to handle high acuity patients
• Willingness to take call for 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period
• Floating required; travelers are first to float
