Mammography Technologist

Position Summary The Mammography Technologist provides excellent patient care by producing and evaluating screening and diagnostic general X‑ray and mammography images as ordered by the referring physician. The successful Mammography Technologist is a "super user" on JR X‑Ray and Mammography equipment and demonstrates competency in mammography examinations and patient care. Desired Professional Skills & Experience Connecticut State Radiologic License – required ARRT Certification – required CPR (BLS) Certification – required ARRT Mammography certification – preferred; candidates without this certification will be expected to obtain it within 12 months of hire or 6 months of becoming board eligible Bachelor's degree in a science‑related field and experience and training in Bone Densitometry – preferred Experience with radiology information systems – preferred Excellent communication and patient care skills Key Benefits Flexible work environment, work/home life balance Community presence: 9 imaging centers and 8 hospital affiliations Leading the pack in the development of AI tools and technology resources Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunities for professional development Compensation Pay range: $37.00 - $49.50 per hour.
