QUALITY MANAGER

Are you a proactive quality leader who thrives on building robust systems, elevating standards, and driving continuous improvement? We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of our quality management systems, lead our quality team, and ensure our products consistently exceed expectations.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining compliance-you'll be a strategic partner to production, engineering, and leadership, fostering a culture where quality is built into everything we do.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Quality Excellence: Oversee, refine, and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Lead & Mentor: Manage and develop the quality team, promoting accountability, professional growth, and high performance.

  • Root Cause & CAPA: Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

  • Audit & Compliance: Plan and execute internal, supplier, and third-party audits. Act as the primary point of contact during external regulatory audits.

  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean / Six Sigma tools to optimize processes, reduce scrap/rework, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Establish key quality metrics (KPIs), track performance trends, and present insights to executive leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of quality management/engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing quality team.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of quality frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or equivalent industry standards).

  • Problem Solver: background in root cause analysis methodologies (5-Why, 8D, Fishbone) and continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at all levels of the organization.

responsibilities:
Manage departmental team members, including Engineers, Liaisons, Managers,

Supervisors, and Technicians. This includes supervising, coordinating, providing leadership

to and reviewing the work of professional, supervisory, and management level subordinates

in order to accomplish operational plans and results.

2. Facilitate and provide guidance for the most critical customer/supplier issues as necessary

to determine root cause and establish countermeasures.

3. Review/decipher data and put into required reports for the organizational needs.

4. Organize and evaluate monthly Quality Reports and attend management and executive staff

meetings.

5. Organize and evaluate weekly Quality Reports and present to manufacturing staff.

6. Support daily manufacturing meetings.

7. Lead the PQA groups at the assigned plants to meet key business objectives.

8. Maintain acceptable customer relationships by supporting all customer requests. This

includes initiating customer and supplier contact for resolving potential product issues.

9. Organize, plan, participate, and recommend resolution to product concerns.

INTERNAL

10. Organize, plan, and contribute to product planning meetings with recommendations for

improvements.

11. Travel to the customer and suppliers when necessary.

12. Manage Supplier APQP to support HMUS products.

13. Manage supplier product and process development via Supplier Joint check meetings to

support HMUS new model launch activities.

14. Support HMUS supplier selection process by providing staff members to participate in

QCDDM audits.

15. Manage critical supplier product and process development by confirming Critical

Characteristic Process Capability Achievement.

16. Manage supplier launch preparation by providing staff members to participate in View email address on randstadusa.com and

launch preparation audits at supplier locations.

17. Manage staff for timely Supplier PPAP approval.

18. Manage product and process development by supporting Production Engineering in Joint

Check meetings to ensure products meet customer specifications.

19. Manage staff for timely Customer PPAP approval.

20. Manage and track multiple Plants QSES Audit status.

21. Review and direct multiple PQA departmental budgets and manpower activities.

22. Must follow all company requirements in regards to Environmental, Health, and Safety

(EHS) policies and procedures.

23. Perform other duties as assigned.
