Job Details Setting: Emergency Department Location: Boston, MA 02118 Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Schedule: Day/evening rotation with flexible start times; 36-48 hours per week depending on assignment needs Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,110 Environment: Busy Emergency Department with a high patient volume and a dynamic pace Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience, or 2 years of recent Level III/IV Emergency Department experience Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks Successful completion of a telemetry assessment on day 1 Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications Recent emergency nursing experience; previous travel nurse experience and critical care background preferred Ability to remain flexible and perform well in a rapidly changing clinical setting Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient treatment Interpret telemetry rhythms and identify clinically significant changes Support related areas as needed, including Psych ED and Pedi ED for patients age 15 when appropriate experience is present Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental standards and protocols Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while helping maintain smooth patient flow in a high-volume department Apply now for this Emergency Department RN travel job in Boston, Massachusetts, and join a dedicated healthcare team today.
