Billing & Claims Administrator (Automotive Service Department)

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Join a busy automotive service department where you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate invoices, processing warranty claims, and supporting parts operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with billing, accounts receivable, dealership, or automotive service experience.

Job Duties

• Review repair orders and process customer invoices accurately and efficiently.




• Submit, monitor, and resolve warranty and third-party claims.




• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and investigate billing discrepancies.




• Maintain accurate records within the dealer management system (DMS).




• Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and accounting teams to verify labor, parts, and service charges.




• Assist with billing reports and month-end activities.




• Close repair orders and verify parts and labor information.




• Process parts returns, credits, and supplier reimbursements.




• Coordinate with customers regarding special-order parts and installation scheduling.




• Provide updates on parts availability and order status.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of billing, invoicing, claims processing, accounts receivable, or administrative experience.




• Automotive dealership or service department experience preferred.




• Experience with warranty claims and DMS platforms such as CDK or Reynolds is a plus.




• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.




• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
