Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required License: WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission Certifications: BLS required; OCN preferred Must-Have: Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Clean license with no prior suspensions; probations considered on a case-by-case basis. Proof of flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is documented. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in infusion for a chemotherapy unit. The role requires administering chemotherapy and managing patient care within an outpatient setting. The daily caseload averages between 70 to 80 patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Experience in administering chemotherapy and monitoring oncology patients is essential. Preferred skills include experience in an infusion center and both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates must submit a profile and two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years. All required information must be submitted together for consideration. The documentation system utilized is Cerner. Additional skills related to accessing and managing ports are valued. Candidate availability for RTO must be included in the submission information.
