Ultrasound Technologist - Day Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 4x10 hours (09:00 - 19:00) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including basic exams such as OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, and breast imaging. Invasive procedures like thoracentesis and paracentesis will also be part of the role. The technologist will be responsible for scanning pediatric to adult patients in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocols. Conduct examinations for various patient diagnoses as specified. Assist with invasive procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis. Maintain accurate patient records and charts, ensuring compliance with hospital standards. Participate in on-call rotation, being available every 3rd day after 6pm and every 3rd weekend. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound imaging. Community hospital experience is required. Current certifications: ARDMS and BLS. New York license must be in hand at the time of submission. EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
