Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Fairfax, Virginia

A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position from June 22nd through July 11th. This role supports daily pharmacy operations by accurately entering and filling prescriptions using the PioneerRX system, as well as assisting the Pharmacist with various tasks. Candidates must have prior experience with the PioneerRX software as it is essential for this role. Training on non-sterile compounding will be provided during the initial days of the assignment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fill prescriptions using PioneerRX
• Assist pharmacists with daily operational tasks
• Perform non-sterile compounding (training provided)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with PioneerRX pharmacy software (mandatory)
• Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent background
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
