Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting tailored treatment plans
• Administer physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide knowledgeable education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress as per facility standards and regulations
• Take part in interdisciplinary team rounds and clinical conferences, ensuring seamless integrated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas like neurology or geriatrics are an asset, notwithstanding not essential

Skills

• Previous clinical experience is highly desirable
