Nurse PractitionerIn collaboration with a Physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients in a specialty setting. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of an advanced practice nursing program5 years of related experienceAdvanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services and in specialty area(s)Licensure/Registration/Certification:BLSOne of the following:Current Alabama RN licenseCurrent Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama** Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of AlabamaCRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical ExaminersCertification in Specialty Area:For Neonatal, must have Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification (NNP) through National Certification Corporation (NCC) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
