Position Summary

The Millwork Corian Helper assists the Corian Fabricator in the fabrication, assembly, finishing, and

installation preparation of solid surface products such as Corian and other engineered solid surface

materials. This position supports the production process by preparing materials, maintaining a clean

work area, operating basic tools and equipment, and ensuring completed work meets company quality

standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Assist with the fabrication and assembly of Corian and other solid surface materials.

 Prepare materials for fabrication by measuring, cutting, labeling, and staging components.

 Sand, finish, polish, and clean solid surface products to achieve quality standards.

 Assist with edge treatments, seam preparation, and adhesive applications.

 Operate basic shop equipment, including sanders, routers, drills, saws, and polishers under

supervision.

 Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop safely.

 Assist with countertop assembly, sinks, backsplashes, and custom millwork components.

 Inspect completed work for defects and notify the Lead of any quality concerns.

 Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

 Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.

 Assist with packaging finished products for shipment or installation.

 Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 Willingness to learn Corian fabrication techniques.

 Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

 Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

 Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

 Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
