We are currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Facilities practice area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from the guidance of a Project Architect; Assist with Building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects; Assist with Building code reviews and compliant studies, under the guidance of a Project Architect; Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications. Requirements An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar. 2-8 years of applicable experience preferred. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software; experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred. Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents. Applicants must be proficient in technical writing and possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively within a project team environment. The desire to learn quickly and be self-motivated. Take personal responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assignments on various projects. Estimated Pay Range : $28-35/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
