Laboratory - PhlebotomistJob Type: Travel Offering Allied Profession Laboratory Specialty Phlebotomist Shift Details: Shift 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Shifts Per Week: 5 Scheduled Hours: 40 Job Order Details Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/19/2026 Duration: 13 Week(s) Float Required: Yes Call Required: No Job Description: High school diploma Certified phlebotomist preferred AHA BLS Minimum Experience: 1-2 years. Inpatient experience required Will also be required to train to perform EKG's. The PM and overnight phlebotomists perform EKG's on inpatients. Will provide all of the training for performing EKG's correctly. They do not interpret the EKG, only perform the test and hand the report to the RN or provider. Charting Experience Required: Sunquest preferred, Epic preferred Required Skillset: proficient in venipuncture and capillary draws: blood draw technique in general; excellent customer service skills. Comfortable with HIS/LIS computer systems, attention to detail. Arterial blood collections experience beneficial. Setting: Hospital City: Wausau State: WI Trauma Level: Level 2 Teaching Hospital: Yes
