divh2Pipe Welder/h2pA Pipe Welder will weld, fabricate and assist pipe fitters in installation of varying types of industrial pipe (carbon) into the projects piping systems. Must have NCCER Boilermaker as well./ppQualification Highlights/pulliMust have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions./liliMust be able to Stick and Tig weld on Pipe./liliMust successfully pass a weld test./liliMust have 4+ years of industrial welding experience./liliMust have all required knowledge, skills, and abilities./liliMust be able to meet all physical requirements./liliMust have all the tools listed below on start date./li/ulpResponsibilities/pulliSelects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques./liliLayout, position, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components together in various body positions and in various places./liliBolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding./liliSets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas arc welding equipment./liliWeld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved./liliIdentify all equipment for job and process./liliIdentify all safety risks and requirements./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliEmployee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting./liliWill talk and hear to communicate./liliWill use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools./liliMay be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs./liliWill work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements./liliMust be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE./liliWill be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots./li/ulpRequired Qualifications/pulliMust be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings in order to perform efficiently./liliMust be able to read and interpret technical manuals as applicable./liliMust have 4+ years of experience welding on industrial size and grade pipe. (Schedules: 40, 80, and 160)/liliMust have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions./liliMust be able to Stick and Tig weld on Pipe./liliMust have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material./liliMust successfully pass a weld test./liliMust have experience welding multiple types of pipe including but not limited to carbon steel, stainless, and chrome./liliMust be able to assist pipe fitters in pipe installation, preparation, and fabrication while not actively welding./liliMust have reliable transportation./liliMust be able to work at heights as required./liliMust have NCCER Boilermaker certification/li/ulpPreferred Additional Qualification/pulliCurrent Zachry or Zachry ROFed employee./liliFormer experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc./liliPrevious experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc./liliCurrent Zachry Certification./liliExperience working as an Industrial Pipe Fitter./liliFormer experience working on a new construction project./li/ulpZachry is dedicated to providing a Safe and Drug-Free work environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer./p/div
