Diverse Staffing is hiring experienced Cherry Picker/Forklift Operators for a growing distribution facility in Brownsburg, Indiana. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals who are comfortable operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
1st Shift

5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Full-time
Mandatory overtime as required

Pay

$17.00 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours worked

Job Duties

Operate cherry picker and forklift equipment safely and efficiently
Retrieve, move, and place products in designated warehouse locations
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
Label, scan, and track products using RF scanners and warehouse systems
Complete product put-away and replenishment tasks accurately
Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report safety concerns
Work with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals

Must-Have Requirements

High School Diploma or GED/ Preferred
Previous cherry picker and forklift experience required
Ability to work safely at elevated heights
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to work mandatory overtime when needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong commitment to workplace safety

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Cherry Picker experience
RF scanner experience
Forklift certification
Shipping and receiving experience
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)

Work Environment

Warehouse environment
Frequent operation of cherry picker and forklift equipment
Working at elevated heights throughout the shift
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Moderate warehouse noise
May be warm during summer months and cool during winter months
PPE required and provided as needed
