Travel RN - PICU - 7P - 7A Shift

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7P - 7A Shift

Job Description: Join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at our facility. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Travel RN with a passion for pediatric care. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-level care to critically ill children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to children in the PICU.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including intensivists and respiratory therapists.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Preferred experience with CRRT and APHON pediatric teaching hospital experience.
