Respiratory Therapist
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The candidate will deliver ventilator management, airway support, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor ventilator and non-invasive ventilation support.
- Manage airway procedures and provide respiratory therapies daily.
- Consult with physicians regarding patient respiratory status.
- Document patient care and equipment usage accurately using computerized charting systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including CPR and medication management.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Hawaii State Respiratory Therapist license or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory care.
- Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, with NRP preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Be able to provide proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption prior to start.
