Position Overview

Transformative Rehab & Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist to join our Cherry Hill, New Jersey outpatient clinic. This full-time role requires a passionate professional who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our patients through effective therapy practices. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting movement, preventing injuries, diagnosing conditions, providing treatment, and facilitating rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our outpatient office in Cherry Hill, a vibrant area known for its commitment to health and wellness. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring our therapists have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources necessary to provide exceptional care. This role operates on a weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients upon initial visits to identify their treatment needs and create individualized therapy plans.
  • Manage a standard caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the patient's specific goals and abilities.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function in patients, particularly within orthopedic conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records through electronic health record (EHR) systems, reports, and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards.
  • Engage in continuous education to stay updated on the latest therapeutic trends and techniques, integrating those into clinical practice.
  • Provide patient and family education on health maintenance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, catering to a diverse demographic ranging from active adults recovering from sports injuries to older adults managing postoperative rehabilitation. We are committed to holistic patient care, developing individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's personal health goals and lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
  • A clean professional record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against the practice license.
  • Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient treatment modalities.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with exceptional skills in specialized therapeutic techniques, sports rehabilitation, or innovative treatment modalities will be evaluated favorably. Experience with electronic health record systems is also advantageous, allowing for seamless documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
