Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT to help patients regain independence
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to keep care plans on track
• Empower patients and families through education on treatment plans and home exercises
• Communicate patient status and responses clearly to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for helping patients rebuild their independence

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy interventions and treatment techniques
• Patient care and patient education best practices
• Accurate and timely medical documentation
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Teamwork and collaboration with rehab professionals
