Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Devereux is a role that supports individuals with behavioral healthcare needs, ensuring safe, healthy environments and guiding them toward daily living skills and overall well‑being. Location & Salary Mount Royal, NJ. Starting salary $20.42 per hour, increasing with education and experience. Responsibilities Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program. Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving goals for daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals. Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings. Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program. Qualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Valid non‑provisional driver's license. 18 years of age or older. Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
