Job Mission As the world’s leading semiconductor lithography machine manufacturer, ASML enables chip manufacturers to produce cheaper, faster chips. Our machines require high‑speed, magnetically levitated stages with sub‑nanometer accuracy, robotic mask delivery, mechatronics for laser illumination, and optical modules that detect sub‑nanometer alignment errors. The role supports the development of next‑generation droplet generators in EUV source at our San Diego, CA office. Internship Goals and Objectives Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers. Tailor tasks to match the education and experience level of the intern and their learning objectives. Learn about working in a corporate setting and gain hands‑on experience solving real‑world problems. Document and present findings and provide an end‑of‑summer presentation to the group. Project Details The project involves hands‑on experiments, testing, and analysis on material‑related challenges critical for developing the next‑generation droplet generator in the EUV source. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams to validate performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
