Customer Business Manager, Kroger

Reporting to a Senior Director of Sales, you will lead the implementation of planning at the account level within our Kroger team, focusing on total volume, profit and share growth for an assigned portfolio of center store brands including Hunt’s Tomatoes, RoTel Tomatoes, Hunt's Pasta Sauce, Armour Canned Meat, Wendy's Chili and Manwich. You will manage the business plan to meet all volume, profit and share goals while implementing brand strategies with the customer by working with decision makers and internal partners and using consumer insights and category management programs to guide customer decisions. This is a great opportunity if you have experience leading headquarter sales calls and are looking to advance your Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales career.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop the annual plan for the customer and present internally to gain agreement on important opportunities for growthLead the joint business planning process with the customer with a focus on strategic expertise in the categories they representDevelop trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customerMonitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending and volume, to achieve all sales goals versus planConduct category business reviews to discuss the state of the business, consumer trends, important business influencers and incremental opportunitiesUse category management practices to link consumer and shopper trends to actionable opportunitiesDevelop accurate monthly forecasts to maximize supply chain efficiencies by tracking shipments, consumption data and inventory changes and identifying potential risksBuild productive customer relationships and negotiate successful outcomes. Ingredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor’s degree required5+ years of CPG industry sales experience, including field sales and headquarters rolesExperience conducting meetings at the Senior Buyer level with customersExperience managing trade budgets, spending and volumeExperience managing a profit and loss (P&L) statementKnowledge of supply chain processes and strong negotiation skillsNumber of Days in Office: 3#LI-Hybrid#LI-MSL#LI-HL1Compensation Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
