This role involves providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with radiological imaging, operating imaging equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and educating patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care. The position requires working under supervision to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency. Job Details Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in Cardiology or Cath Lab preferred; Certifications including Registered ARRT, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 18 months of hire; current BLS and ACLS certifications endorsed by the American Heart Association; fluoroscopy certification; radiation badge supplied by vendor. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree preferred; advanced certifications such as RCIS or RCES preferred. Additional Information: Provides patient care under RN supervision, assists in maintaining supply levels, documents procedures accurately, participates in quality and safety initiatives, and supports the organizations mission and values. Performs other duties as assigned.
