Job Overview A law firm seeks a senior-level tax credit finance associate or counsel with over seven years of experience to join its Tax Credit Finance team in Austin, TX. This role involves handling all aspects of tax credit transactions, including historic and new markets tax credits. Responsibilities Lead or assist in the initial structuring of tax credit transactions. Review financial projections and negotiate business and legal issues. Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity and loan documents and opinions. Conduct necessary due diligence and manage projects overall. Requirements 7+ years of relevant law firm experience in tax credit finance. Proficiency in handling all facets of tax credit transactions. Strong academic record with a J.D. from a nationally recognized law school. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant state. Skills Excellent negotiation and drafting skills. Strong project management abilities. Proficient in financial analysis related to tax credits. Benefits Top-tier benefits and compensation.
