Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports the efficient functioning of the accounts receivable process by accurately recording revenue, processing invoices, and ensuring timely collections.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process and record customer invoices accurately.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts receivable.
• Assist in the development and implementation of billing and collection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and other relevant tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounts receivable principles.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Capable of repetitive hand and arm motions as well as extended periods of typing.
• Capable of looking at a screen for extended periods or entire shifts.

Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):

This position is scheduled on a full-time basis. Specific shift times and workdays are determined by the operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Whenever feasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.
