Animal Care Manager

Wooflands ManagerThe Wooflands Manager assists in creating employee scheduling, managing inventory and supplies, promoting and enforcing policies and procedures, manages support functions and departments of the Kennel's operation, including but not limited to: supervising the front office, pet facilities, grounds, laundry, recreation facilities and programs. This individual must observe and maintain knowledge of new policies, programs, and equipment in the company protocol.Essential functions include delivering internal and external guest service the Nemacolin way, building and retaining guest relations, ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to, implementing company guidelines, purchasing supplies, planning and coordinating meetings, communicating on behalf of the owner and executives, creating an inviting environment, supporting the Director of Animal Life, prioritizing conflicting needs, addressing and resolving guest concerns, developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities, implementing training protocols, using office equipment effectively, communicating effectively, working under high-pressure situations, demonstrating independent decision-making, managing time effectively, handling confidential information with discretion, and being proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include a bachelor's degree preferred, ability to type 45 to 65 w.p.m., knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, ability to perform basic mathematical functions, independently initiating and completing assignments, knowledge of financial systems, performing effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, ability to perform multiple tasks, interfacing professionally with business contacts and customers, strong understanding of the hospitality industry, demonstrating interpersonal sound judgment and decision-making skills, and at least 5 years' experience in the Pet Care industry.Craft a career defined by excellence, growth, and experience at Nemacolin, set within Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands, where luxury-level service, refined hospitality, and a culture of meaningful careers take shape through experience, mentorship, and opportunity.
