Full‑time Regular Goddard, KS, US Position Summary First National Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join our growing Commercial Lending team serving the Wichita and surrounding area market. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial loan relationships while maintaining strong asset quality and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a lender with an established market presence who values relationship banking and community involvement. Key Responsibilities Originate, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial loans with a focus on asset quality Develop new business relationships and expand existing customer relationships within the Wichita area market Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness to make sound underwriting decisions within approval authority Structure, document, and close commercial loans in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements Maintain complete, current credit files including financial statements, cash flow analysis, and loan documentation Monitor portfolio performance and assist with collection efforts as needed Collaborate with loan staff and management to support overall lending and deposit growth Actively participate in networking, community involvement, and business development activities Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations (including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Experience required in commercial lending with the ability to manage a commercial loan portfolio independently Strong relationship‑building, sales, and communication skills Solid credit analysis and underwriting ability Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and related banking systems Existing knowledge of the Wichita‑area market strongly preferred Occasional travel within the market may be required Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Fnbhutch
