What You'll Do

• Provide play therapy and other developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents
• Conduct assessments and formulate diagnoses
• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment updates
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and other providers as clinically appropriate
• Help children develop emotional regulation, coping skills, communication skills, and resilience
• Utilize creative, engaging, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each child's needs
• Support Ellie Mental Health's mission of expanding access to quality mental health care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active mental health license or license-eligible status preferred
• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families
• Training or experience in play therapy strongly preferred
• RPT, RPT-S, or pursuit of Registered Play Therapist credentials is a plus
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional boundaries
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems
• Insurance credentialing preferred for fully licensed clinicians
