We are seeking a Host or Hostess to support a casual dining restaurant during moderate-volume service. Reporting to the front-of-house manager, this role will welcome guests, manage reservations and walk-ins, coordinate seating, and help create a smooth, positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Assign tables based on availability and service flow.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests.
- Coordinate the waitlist and communicate estimated wait times.
- Oversee seating management during service.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide helpful information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in restaurant hosting.
