Geriatric Nursing Contract

Provide skilled nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care facility for a 13-week contract. Support interdisciplinary teams and ensure high-standard patient outcomes while maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to geriatric patients in a long-term care setting, following safety and compliance protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and accurately document all care activities.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and available resources.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to promote well-being and prevent infections.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license from accredited program
• Current BLS certification
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term or geriatric nursing
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Strong communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS certification
