CT Technologist

Overview The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Responsibilities Prepare the patient and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans as part of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures. Qualifications Education: 2 Year/Associate Degree, Preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, Required. Experience: 1 year experience in CT, Preferred. Licensure/Certification NH Medical Center - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, Required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), Required.
