Hematology/Oncology Physician

• Reason for Coverage: Staff retirement

• Preferred: 3 days per week
• Will consider two providers sharing coverage
• Flexible scheduling options, including alternating 1-week or 2-week on/off rotations

• Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Recent patient-facing Hematology/Oncology experience

• Outpatient practice
• Solo provider coverage
• Approximately 15 patients per day
• Case mix:
  • 60% Hematology
  • 40% Oncology (Solid Tumors)
• Patient mix:
  • 20% New Patients
  • 80% Follow-up Visits
• High-acuity cases (such as acute leukemias) are referred to tertiary centers
• Locum providers will participate in the tumor board

• One on-site APP daily
• Three collaborating physicians at a nearby location
• Dedicated oncology-trained infusion RNs
• APPs assist with follow-up visits, supportive care, documentation, and orders
