Job Summary:
This position is for a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Salem, Massachusetts. The role involves working on a 41-bed medical telemetry unit, providing specialized care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal conditions. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts RN license on their first day of work.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), a minimum of 2 years of experience working at a single location, 2 years of experience as a traveler, and proficiency in reading telemetry strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, interpreting telemetry strips, use of TR Bands, and high-flow oxygen.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; travelers are expected to float to applicable units as needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves working on a 41-bed cardiac telemetry unit with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6 during night shifts. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is EPIC.
