Work Environment\nThis position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still ensuring that you stay connected to our supportive team. Our work hours are generally scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required on a rotating basis, catering to the needs of our clients. You will have access to a variety of virtual tools and platforms to facilitate client interactions, documentation, and collaboration with your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders through clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools. \n
- Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based therapies that address both mental health and substance use needs, emphasizing an individualized approach. \n
- Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and techniques for emotional regulation. \n
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care, working alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to provide comprehensive and integrated treatment. \n
- Regularly monitor substance use and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients through their recovery journeys. \n
- Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, highlighting the importance of adherence to treatment protocols. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and recommendations in alignment with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Engage in case conferences, interdisciplinary staff meetings, and ongoing training to continue enhancing your expertise in the treatment of co-occurring disorders. \n
As a Mental Health Therapist with Wellbeing Therapeutics, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents who experience co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your role will involve fostering a supportive environment that addresses the unique needs of each client, facilitating recovery through tailored therapeutic approaches, and breaking down barriers to treatment access.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois. \n
- Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies pertinent to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). \n
- In-depth understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use disorders. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary treatment team. \n

- Clinical experience in a community health clinic or integrated care setting, particularly with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders. \n
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to enhance client interactions and documentation efficiency. \n
