We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Memphis, TN location. This position reports to the Senior Director, Operations.Responsibilities:Coordinates warehousing operations and production needsMaintains timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of product or ingredients to meet plant and corporate objectivesOversees shipping/receiving operations to provide efficient handling of raw materials and customer ordersEstablishes and maintains warehousing rotation and hold programsPeriodically audits inventory for accuracy and obsolete productEnforces the plant's safety program including good GMP'sMonitors warehousing area and employees to maintain excellent housekeeping standards, eliminate work hazards and unsafe acts.Monitors equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes for safe operationTrains individuals on safety procedures, specifically forklift and hand jack operation, loading, and trailer operationTrains, motivates, and monitors performance of warehousing employees. Recognize good performance and take corrective action when neededDrive initiatives to reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, implementation of new methods and tools to improve productivityTracks and coordinates timely receipts and storage of goods and materials.Understand and maintain traceability recordsCoordinates and maintains fleets and equipment.Communicates and coordinates with other departments.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent required, four-year college degree preferredExcellent PC skills, to include Windows, Word, Excel and SAPExcellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skillsPrevious experience in food-processing, manufacturing, warehouse supervision or similar position is preferredA self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead othersProblem solving skills to handle production and customer issues.Richardson is recognized as a global leader in agriculture and food processing and has over 4,000 employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe.
