Role Description The Behavior Therapist will provide part‑time, on‑site ABA services in clients’ homes and community settings in Melissa, TX. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, collecting data on target behaviors, and teaching adaptive, communication, and social skills through structured and play‑based activities. The role involves collaborating with supervising clinicians, participating in treatment planning, and communicating progress to caregivers in a clear and supportive way. The Behavior Therapist will model behavior strategies for family members, maintain accurate session notes and documentation, and follow ethical and professional standards in all interactions. The position also requires flexibility in scheduling, adherence to safety protocols, and ongoing participation in training and supervision. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis skills, including the ability to implement treatment plans and collect behavioral data. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Psychology to understand developmental disorders, behavior principles, and learning processes. Candidates should possess experience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental needs, in home or community‑based settings. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, including clear communication, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build trust with clients and families. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field is preferred. Experience in ABA (e.g., as a Registered Behavior Technician or similar role) is strongly preferred; willingness to complete ABA and safety training is required. Ability to follow clinical direction, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional and ethical standards in a faith‑informed environment.
