Our installation team works on projects ranging from individual sign installations to large, multi-phase programs involving thousands of signs across complex facilities and campuses.
As a Signage Installer, you’ll work closely with project managers and field leadership who understand the realities of installation work. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in seeing finished work come together, enjoys working in changing environments, and is comfortable traveling as part of the job.
A significant portion of our installation work supports large-scale data center and infrastructure projects, where safety, accuracy, coordination, and reliability are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Install architectural, ADA, wayfinding, identification, and other signage in commercial and industrial environments
- Maintain a productive pace while completing assigned work accurately and safely
- Read and interpret construction drawings, signage plans, installation details, and project documentation
- Follow established safety procedures, site requirements, and project-specific installation standards
- Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to document progress and update project status
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment safely
- Prepare installation areas, verify sign locations, and ensure completed work meets project requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Travel to project locations, including frequent out-of-state travel
Skills and Qualifications
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools, including drills, saws, levels, and related installation equipment
- Ability to read measurements and follow detailed installation instructions
- Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work areas
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently, with assistance for heavier or oversized items
- Willingness to learn signage installation methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Basic technology skills and comfort using tablets, laptops, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Dependable, accountable, and able to adapt to changing project conditions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass required drug screening upon hire and randomly as needed for special project locations
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time, including overnight and out-of-state travel
Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess
- Prior signage, construction, installation, or field-service experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with low-voltage electrical work
- Experience erecting or working from scaffolding
- Experience operating aerial lifts or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated reliability and consistency in a field or construction environment

Typical Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Typical 8-hour shifts
- Overtime, extended shifts, or weekend work may occasionally be required based on project schedules and travel
