 ** Occupational Health Coordinator **

** Jewett, TX ** (North of College Station)

** $90,000–$120,000 Base + ROA Bonus + Profit Sharing Bonus **

A Fortune 100 steel manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Health professional, Registered Nurse, or Paramedic to support onsite occupational health and emergency medical activities at a large manufacturing facility in Jewett, Texas.

This is a highly autonomous position for someone who is comfortable serving as a trusted medical and health resource within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate combines strong emergency-care experience with the maturity, communication skills, and judgment needed to build relationships with employees while managing highly confidential medical information.

** Responsibilities **

• Provide onsite emergency medical response, triage, first aid, and follow-up care
• Coordinate occupational injuries, workers’ compensation cases, and return-to-work activities
• Lead and support the facility’s Emergency Response Team and rescue program
• Teach CPR and First Aid courses
• Administer the facility’s drug and alcohol testing program
• Manage occupational medical surveillance programs, including audiograms, vision testing, pulmonary function testing, and respirator fit testing
• Coordinate industrial hygiene testing and occupational-health programs
• Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and emergency-response readiness
• Maintain confidential employee medical and occupational-health records
• Coordinate with hospitals, physicians, specialists, and external healthcare providers
• Participate in incident investigations and provide medical expertise
• Support OSHA and company health and safety requirements
• Build strong relationships with employees to encourage early reporting and proactive care

** Qualifications **

Candidates should possess one of the following:

• Nationally Registered or Texas-certified Paramedic/EMS certification, and/or
• Active Texas Nursing license

** Additional qualifications include: **

• Minimum 3 years of EMS/Paramedic or emergency-care nursing experience
• Industrial or occupational-health experience
• Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of professionalism, maturity, discretion, and confidentiality
• Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations
• Willingness to provide after-hours support when necessary
• Willingness to complete additional emergency medical and OSHA-related training

** Experience with workers’ compensation, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, employee health, medical surveillance, or emergency response is strongly preferred. **

** Location **

This position is based onsite in Jewett, TX.

• Candidates must currently live within approximately 30 miles of the facility or be willing to relocate within that radius. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

** Compensation **

• Base Salary: $87,000–$120,000, based on experience
• Annual ROA bonus (averages 28% annually)
• Additional profit-sharing bonus (averages 15-20% annually)
